Seagrove Pottery Heritage Ornament
A 4-inch ornament celebrating Seagrove’s rich pottery history, crafted in engineered maple and cherry.
A pottery tradition. A hometown connection.
I was asked to create this ornament to celebrate the rich pottery history of Seagrove, North Carolina, near where I grew up in Asheboro. The design brings together pottery, a potter at work, and a kiln in a keepsake that honors the area’s craft traditions. Engineered maple and cherry create contrast, while cutout details allow the tree’s greenery and lights to show through.
